








All animals exhibited must be competitor’s bona-fide property.
The arrangements for the Show will be conducted by a Committee of Management and all persons entering the Show Grounds are subject to the direction of the stewards and Honorary Secretary.
Intending competitors must lodge with Honorary Secretary a complete list of their entries numbered according to the Prize List (on forms to be supplied by Honorary Secretary) not later than closing date: ...no later than Friday 16th JULY 2010, otherwise they will not be considered.
The judges’ awards shall be final and binding upon all parties concerned.
Objections must be lodged with the Secretary within half an hour after the award, accompanied by a deposit of €10 which will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained or is considered frivolous by the Executive Committee
The judge may withhold the prizes in any section for want of merit.
No person shall interfere with any judge before or during adjudication. Only appointed stewards to remain in the judging ring during adjudication. Any exhibitor breaking this regulation will be disqualified from receiving a prize in any section in which he/she is exhibiting at the time of the offence. Any person annoying or interfering with any judge shall be excluded and any prizes awarded at the Show to such a person shall be forfeited.
Any class with three or less entries will only be awarded 1st or 2nd prizes.
Cattle, horses and dogs must be led at all times (unless otherwise specified)
All exhibits to be in place in the Bee Park by 10am. Judging commences in the horse, cattle, sheep, home industries, cookery, farm, garden and flower sections at 11am. Judging commences in the pet section at 2pm. Stock cannot be removed until 2.30pm. Marquee entries cannot be removed until 3pm.
Exhibitors should note that exhibits in the marquee may only be entered once.
Exhibitors may enter horses, cattle and sheep in any class for which they are eligible, but any animal obtaining two first prizes cannot be shown in any other class. They will however, be eligible for championship and special awards.
All winners of animal feed are required to collect their winnings on the day of the show. Any feed not collected will be forfeited.
Neither the Society or any of its officers or servants shall be in any way responsible or accountable for anything that may happen (from any cause or circumstance whatsoever) to the exhibitors or their servants or to the property brought into the Show Grounds, or for anything else in connection with, or arising out of, or attributable to the Society’s Show.
The Society shall in no way be responsible for any accident, loss or damage from whatever cause arising to any person or exhibit.
For every €20 worth of entries an exhibitor will receive one free entry ticket to the Show Grounds on the Show Day.
Under no circumstances will cars be allowed to park in the Show Grounds on Show Day.
Perpetual cups and trophies must be returned at least one month before Show date.
Should any matter arise not provided for in the foregoing rules and regulations, such matters will be referred to the Committee, whose decision shall be final and binding – no appeal to law in any case is permitted.
Department conditions governing entries in the cattle section:It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to ensure that his or her cattle comply fully with the regulations of the Department of Agriculture in relation to Brucellosis Testing and Bovine TB Eradication Control. Exhibitors who fail to meet these regulations will not be admitted to Show Grounds.
